...nothing special is happening but everything glows...

What is this?

The Quiet Circus is a 15-month long performance residency at Washington Avenue Pier created by Headlong along the Delaware River. Audiences and participants alike are invited to engage in a single, ongoing arc of public performances. The participatory events occur every Saturday from 11AM to 1PM in three-month runs throughout Fall 2016 and Spring and Fall 2017, with participant and community reflection activities happening in the months in between.

Four River Charrette events that take place at wildly different sites along Philadelphia’s Schulykill and Delaware rivers produced together with Philadelphia Contemporary will also take place during this time.
